Why Did My Sales Numbers Change?

Modified on Thu, 30 Jan at 2:10 PM

Have you ever looked at your charts so often that you notice the numbers sometimes change?

The daily numbers reported are estimates only. Draft2Digital displays the reports as they are given to us by the vendor store site and updated when the vendor store site provides updates.
The numbers provided are based upon the number of "Buy Now" clicks from buyers. There are a number of reasons why a buyer may not complete the process of ordering a book, or why a book order may end up rejected (due to a bad credit card, etc). This will cause those estimates to adjust.

The daily numbers reported are estimates only and good for tracking trends and seeing if your marketing efforts are working as expected, however, only final end of month raw data can be used for fiscal accounting, as those are the finalized amounts reported and paid to us by the vendor for your monthly sales. Everything else is an estimation.
