Ebook Statuses Explained

The following are all possible states you'll see for your ebook. 

Draft - A book uploaded and saved to your account which has never been published. 

Publishing - Your book is being submitted to the stores and may be live at a few of them but not all. 

There may be longer publishing times depending on the vendors. If you want to see which stores are published and which are taking longer, click into your View Book page by clicking the title of your book. On the right hand side near the bottom of the View Book page, you can see where you've published and each store's individual status.

Needs Review - There could be an issue with a book at one or more of the stores. 

If you see this status you may view the rejection by: Clicking on My Books--> Click on the title of the book--> Look at the list of vendors and if any the vendor tags say needs review you can view the reason this has been flagged by clicking the link to see more about the rejection.

Published - Your book is live at all stores selected.

Pre-Order - A book that is live and able to purchased, but not yet sent to the customer, and is set to release at a future date, at which time the purchaser would receive the file.

Delisting -  Your book delist has been submitted to the stores and they are in the process of removing the listings from their sites. 

Delisted -  A book which was previously published but has been removed from all stores it was previously listed with.
