What do I need to publish a book?

You need to have a complete and edited story, non-fiction content, or poetry in a digital format before you can publish your work.

Draft2Digital will not provide any editing or book covers; creative control is in your hands.

Other than a manuscript, you must have a book title, at least one BISAC subject (that you choose), a book description, and a release date*. 

*How to chose your release date: You can choose a date in the future for a pre-order, a date in the past (if you are re-publishing), or today’s date.

Please note that we cannot accept printed manuscripts or physical USB drives. All book submissions must be made digitally.
